RED WHITE & ROYAL BLUE
What happens when America's First Son falls in love with the Prince of Wales?
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.
Heads of family, state, and other handlers devise a plan for damage control: staging a truce between the two rivals. What at first begins as a fake, Instragramable friendship grows deeper, and more dangerous, than either Alex or Henry could have imagined. Soon Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret romance with a surprisingly unstuffy Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations and begs the question: Can love save the world after all? Where do we find the courage, and the power, to be the people we are meant to be? And how can we learn to let our true colors shine through? Casey McQuiston's Red, White & Royal Blue proves: true love isn't always diplomatic.

WRITING!
Casey McQuiston has a great way of developing characters. From pages one I had a sense of each person and I had a deep connection with Alex, which is what dug me deeper into the pages.
If I can not relate to a character within the first chapter then you know I will be tossing the book aside, other wise I feel like I am wasting my time. But throughout my reading, I felt like it was time well spent.
HOT or NOT?
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and if you are looking for the perfect book, then I suggest settling into a nice hot tub, with a glass of wine and a box of chocolates because this lovers to enemies romance will give you the spice in your life that you have been looking for.
First we meet Alex who is so sure of what he wants except when it comes to the blooming relationship with the Prince. Alex is fully of witty comments and on the path to be a political leader in the following years.
Then there is Prince Henry himself, who is already walking the footpath of being in the limelight of Britain politics.
But there are complications of being together in front of media and tabloids, especially for the Prince, when is family is traditional and see their relationship as something to hideaway from everyone.
I will have to say during all the drama, I find myself liking the secret meet ups more and more. Their passion for each other burned me right through the pages. And their scenes together are just *chefs kiss* *mmwah*
As always, I do recommend forming your own opinion, so there is a direct link to the book up above. And I always welcome feedback on my own critique as I’m not always right.
